Foundation obedience can be the basis for a working dog, but it can also be basic manners for a pet dog. Foundation can also include working on reactivity so that you can enjoy time outside of the home with your dog.

AKC Rally is a team sport: You and your dog navigate a course, side-by-side, through a course of 10-20 different signs. Each of these signs provides instructions regarding the next skill that is to be performed. The dog and handler move continuously throughout the course with the dog under control at the handler’s left side.

Scent Work is a sport that mimics the task of working detection dogs to locate a scent and communicate to the handler that the scent has been found.

From walking on- and off-leash to retrieving and jumping, or demonstrating your dog’s ability to stay.

Fast Cat is a timed 100-yard dash where dogs run one at a time, chasing a lure.

Dock Diving includes 3 different trials all including diving into the pool to retreive a toy.

Basic obedience is needed for each of these sports to keep your dog under control during the competitions.
